L.V. Hull Art Contest
The Kosciusko Foundation of Excellence in Education recently sponsored an art contest in the Kosciusko School District. Students from Pre-K through twelfth grade participated, with prizes awarded in two categories to the top three winners at each school.
The contest featured two categories: L.V. Hull Inspired Art and Free Style. Ms. L.V. Hull, a longtime resident of Kosciusko, was a self-taught artist who began creating art in 1975, using her home and garden as her canvas. Today, her home stands as an important landmark, preserved by the Keysmith Foundation with plans to complete the L.V. Hull Legacy Center just down the street from her home.
Striving to enhance public education in Kosciusko since 1991
The founders of this organization were comprised of Kosciusko business leaders, teachers, mothers, doctors and concerned parents who were interested in supporting and supplementing the Kosciusko City Schools.
